Beverages and stimulants

Beverages on this site cover the main plant raw materials cocoa, coffee and tea, whereas under the subject stimulants only tobacco has been studied in more detail. All together these four crops cover 24 million ha world-wide and are hence important cash crops. As for most agricultural commodities which require great care by the growers, quality is an essential criteria for the success of their cultivation.
