| Recommendations: |
For yields between 7 35 t/ha, depending on production goal (quality wine, fresh fruit), 20 200 kg Kieserite/ha are recommended as maintenance dressing (soil fertility class C). On calcareous or acid soils 1.5-2.0 times that amount is needed to balance the antagonistic effects of Ca2+ or Al3+, respectively. Foliar applications of
2-3% Epsom Salt sprays are recommended if soil supply is insufficient due to temporal drought.
