| Recommendations: |
For yields of 55 65 t/ha of the planted crop, 400 550 kg Kieserite/ha are recommended, whereas for yields of 45 t/ha of the ratoon crop, 80 400 kg Kieserite/ha are required. Kieserite is either broadcast pre-planting or banded along the planting row to increase efficiency. If indicated by plant analysis, supplemental Mg can be applied to the foliage using 5% solutions of Epsom Salt.
