| Recommendations: |
The amount applied depends on utilisation of the tubers. Largest doses are meant for fresh consumption and seed potatoes. Processing potatoes receive medium and starch potatoes low rates. The range is: 170 240 kg Kieserite/ha. |

Typical Mg deficiency symptoms in potatoes: Interveinal chlorosis which turns into necrosis when exposed to high sunlight.

Severly S deficient potato leaf blades remain yellowish and in time curl upward.
